OUT LOUD- A Poem by Maria do Rosario Loures

OUT LOUD

Maria do Rosario Loures

People as artificial nature

aroma of repressed feelings

stairs as steps

summer nights

sleep from exhaustion

sober as a wise woman

In the middle of the desert of being

let the heat in

let the cats meow

let the water run its course

let calm keep calm

leave me in my hibernation

music without echo

the air is hot

the night calls

the water sleeps

the skin reddened

The sun has already set

because this story

don't want to reach

the end
