Peace Cries Aloud

Dost Muhammad Rajper

Kids need protective tents,

Food for good living,

Water for drinking,

Kids can't eat bullets,

Kids can't drink poison of bombing fear,

Women are in vortex of life,

They shed tears from tired eyes,

Their dreams are shattered throne,

Their hopes are dilapidated palaces,

Shepherds do hide in shed,

Goats and sheep don't graze in meadow,

When they see the bloody rainbow,

Peace cries aloud,

Harmony seems injured

And humanity bleeds

Let us end war

Let us love

And scatter love all over the world.
