Rahul Gandhi Slams PM Modi During Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the PM is "scared" because his alleged vote theft has been exposed. Addressing the Samvidhan Samman Sammelan during his Voter Adhikar Yatra in Motihari, Gandhi accused Modi of maintaining silence on the allegations, saying, "Modi is keeping quiet because I have caught his vote theft".
Allegations of Vote Theft
Gandhi alleged that the BJP has deleted 6.5 million voters' names from the electoral rolls in Bihar, targeting Dalits, Backward Classes, and minorities, while no rich person's name has been deleted. He claimed the BJP intends to replace these voters with fake ones, citing examples of similar alleged vote theft in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.
INDIA Bloc Unity
The Voter Adhikar Yatra, which aims to highlight issues with the electoral rolls, has seen significant participation from opposition leaders, including RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, CPI-ML's Dipankar Bhattacharya, and VIP's Mukesh Sahani. Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin also joined the yatra, accusing the Election Commission of acting as a "puppet" of the BJP.
Tejashwi Yadav's Remarks
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP of attempting to erase the identity of OBCs, EBCs, Dalits, Mahadalits, and Adivasis. He credited his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, with bringing social awakening and assertiveness to the state, saying, "Now leaders from the backward communities are becoming chief ministers, and the credit goes to Lalu for this".
BJP's Response
BJP leaders have dismissed the allegations, with some accepting that the yatra has drawn unexpected crowds. However, others, like Shahnavaz Hussain, have downplayed the significance of the yatra's attendance.
The Voter Adhikar Yatra is set to continue, with Gandhi and other leaders vowing to expose the alleged vote theft and protect the democratic rights of the people ¹ ².
