Rhapsody of Embrace
Bello Micheal Oluwatimileyin
The sky erupted with flashes. Gentle raindrops fell through the dark night, casting a serene ambiance. The trees swayed in sync as my beloved and I embraced— our love shining bright like the evening's final light. Her calmness melted my icy gaze into a warm smile, erasing my fears and filling me with trust. This love had conquered me, making me a willing captive.
Under the towering Iroko tree, the rain's rhythm became a serenade, a symphony of love that harmonized our hearts. Our clothes clung to us, but our spirits soared free. Her smile was like a playful wave caressing the shore, radiating elegance like Lady Theresa's grace. We savored each other's souls, lost in the harmony of our love.
The sky rumbled on, but we heard only the crescendo of our emotions, the staccato beat of our hearts. In this moment, love was the only language we needed. I smoothed her hair, rich with the scent of African earth, as her head emerged with a courageous shape of African beauty. I kissed her sweet skin, shiny as Shea butter, and cherished her gentle eyes, my guiding light.
She hid under me, her love and smile my shelter. Love was our capsule, shielding us from the raging heart.
In the end, only three words mattered: 'I love you.'
All rage and wishes found their range in love's embrace. Love conquered, and our hearts adjusted to the beauty of fitting together, like Āyò ōpón pieces in a perfect whole.
Some difficult words to consider:
1. Āyò ôpón- This is a puzzle game with 10 holes usually played by two players.
